What He Believed
Charlie felt that on earth all we have is our name, our word and reputation as people who care for those around us. Always a gentleman, he felt that he never needed to get even, and that life would ultimately settle any score. He had a deep faith in Christ and believed that each of us are put on earth by God for a unique purpose. To his children he always said, as you live your life, picture a loving God standing beside you and do whatever you'd feel comfortable doing with Him present.
Despite what others might do, Charlie felt that in all circumstances we must tell the truth and act honestly, regardless as to the personal or financial impact. Toward his children and wife he had the utmost patience, never calling us out, but instead always calling us to a higher purpose and mission.
